From international groups to chains of just a few hotels.

International hotel groups, chains of just a few properties, multi-business operators and restaurant chains. Anonymized out of respect for confidentiality — the systems, though, are real.

CRS migration to SynXis

Context

A hotel group needed to migrate its central reservation system to SynXis, across a portfolio of properties in continuous operation.

Problem

A CRS migration touches the heart of distribution: the slightest disruption is paid for in lost bookings. The operational risk ruled out any uncontrolled big-bang switch.

What we did

Defined the project roadmap and led contract negotiations on the client side. On delivery: automated the batch migration processes and built the dual-run tooling, running the old and new systems in parallel long enough to secure the cutover.

Result

A cutover with no operational disruption, an end-to-end controlled dual-run, and a roadmap reusable across the remaining properties.

Multi-business operator · hotel, F&B, casino, spa

Unified guest view (cross-business data warehouse)

Context

An operator spanning several businesses had no consolidated view of its guests: each system (hotel, restaurant, casino, spa) kept its own data in isolation.

Problem

No way to recognize the same guest from one business to the next — and therefore no way to manage the relationship or guest value at group scale.

What we did

Designed a data warehouse exchanging data two-way with the operational systems, reconciling heterogeneous sources into a single, cross-business guest view. A configurable foundation, open to new source systems and new areas of analysis.

Result

A complete guest view shared across every business, integrated access to guest information within the operational systems, and an extensible BI foundation.

Restaurants · multi-site chain

Multi-POS loyalty without disruption

Context

A restaurant chain wanted to unify its loyalty program across all its points of sale, running on different POS systems (Simphony, TcPos).

Problem

Loyalty that stopped at each POS type, and a switch that threatened to interrupt operations mid-service.

What we did

A loyalty application connected to Simphony and TcPos, a phased migration to avoid any disruption, and integration with the incumbent marketing provider (guest and coupon integration, export of footfall and spend).

Result

A consistent loyalty experience across every point of sale, a cutover with no service interruption, and preserved continuity with the existing marketing ecosystem.

Hospitality · multi-property group

Big-bang data migration (multi-property CRS)

Context

A hotel group needed to study and then execute the migration of its central reservation system across all its properties.

Problem

Migrating every property’s data in a single switch (big bang) concentrates the risk on one moment: data quality and completeness leave no margin for error.

What we did

Studied the migration options, then ran a big-bang data migration covering the group’s entire property portfolio.

Result

A successful group-wide cutover across the whole portfolio, with no fragmented follow-up migrations to manage over time.

Hospitality · B2B distribution

A B2B reservation portal for the group

Context

A hotel group wanted to give its professional partners — travel agencies, corporate accounts, tour operators — a dedicated online booking channel, separate from its consumer-facing website.

Problem

B2B bookings still went through manual channels (email, phone): no real-time availability or negotiated rates, time-consuming handling, and room for error at every step.

What we did

Built the group’s B2B internet reservation site, connected to the central reservation system for real-time availability and rates, with per-partner negotiated rates.

Result

A self-sufficient B2B distribution channel, partner bookings self-served in real time.
